Property Info
Location. MD Resort Bed & Breakfast in Aurora, Texas, is located 20 miles northwest of Fort Worth on 37 acres of farmland. This private, fully-functioning ranch is five miles from the International Exotic Feline Sanctuary, which houses bobcats, cougars, jaguars, leopards, lions and tigers. The ranch is 14 miles west of the Texas Motor Speedway.
Hotel Features. MD Resort Bed & Breakfast offers "Old West" style on a land with open pastures and stately trees. The bed and breakfast is one of several buildings on the ranch, which also offers a 1500-square-foot meeting room, 3500-square-foot party barn, game room with a pool table and darts, a hotel, and an RV park. Outside is a hammock for lounging around, as well as tree swings, a sandbox, and outdoor sports courts for children. One seven foot hot tub and a large freeform outdoor pool with waterfalls are available for guests' use. Hayrides, horseback riding, massages and portable picnic baskets are available. There is also a small fishing pond on site. Guests at the bed and breakfast enjoy a complimentary full country breakfast each morning.
Guestrooms. The smoke-free guestrooms at this bed and breakfast are individually decorated and equipped with complimentary high-speed Internet access, and private or shared bathrooms, some with jetted spa tubs. Some rooms are handicap accessible. The king suite units have a coffeemaker, microwave oven, and refrigerator.
Expert Tip. The innkeepers need at least four hours notice to warm the hot tub, so guests wanting to take advantage of this particular amenity should let the hosts know as soon as possible.

Driving Directions
601 Old Base Road, Fort Worth, Texas
From Forth Worth Airport:
Go west on Texas HwY 114.
At Rhome, 114 merges with US 81/287 for about one mile.
Stay in the right lane and take the exit that says 114 west towards Bridgeport.
Turn left at the stop sign. Go two miles to Old Base Rd.
Look for the big MD Resort Bed & Breakfast sign on the left and turn left unto Old Base Rd.
Go 1/2 mile.
Just past the new homes, there will be another MD Resort sign in the front field.
Turn left onto the gravel driveway and follow it about 1/2 mile to the lodge at the end of the gravel road. |
