Property Info
Historically designated, award-winning, country-style home has been restored to its original 1910 grandeur of simple, yet elegant décor. Centrally located, within 5 minutes of downtown. Guests may enjoy the parlor, living room with fireplace, dining room, wraparound porch and gazebo. Breakfast may be served in either the dining room, or in your room. It's a gourmet treat, with fresh fruit or baked fruit in season, baked egg casseroles and homemade breads and muffins, juices, coffee or tea served on antique china with sterling silver and crystal.
Each room contains a luxurious queen bed with your choice of pillows. Three guestrooms in the house all have relaxing sitting areas and private baths with claw footed tubs for showers or baths. The carriage house has two suites. The first has a fireplace, hot tub, is handicap accessible, and sleeps up to four. The second floor has a sauna as well as a hot tub and sleeps two. All rooms have cable TV, air-conditioning, phone, hair dryers, irons and ironing boards.

Whether it's the culture of the Kimbell, the Amon Carter, the Bass Performance Hall and the Cowgirl Hall of Fame or the nightlife of Sundance Square and the Stockyards, there's plenty in Fort Worth as well. Business guests will appreciate being close to downtown Fort Worth and to the Medical District; families will love the nearby Zoo, the Log Cabin Village, Trinity Park, the Omni Theater, the Water Gardens and more. |

1417 8th Avenue, Fort Worth, TX - Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport: Depart airport heading South on International Parkway South. Take the TX- 183 West/TX-360 South ramp towards Fort Worth/Arlington. Merge on TX-183 West towards Fort Worth. TX-183 West becomes TX-121 South. Merge onto I-35 West South/US-287 South via the exit on the left toward US-377 South/Waco. Merge onto I-30 West via Exit 51 toward Abeline. Take the Summit Avenue exit- Exit 13B- toward 8TH Avenue. Turn left onto Summit Avenue. Stay straight to go onto 8TH Avenue, then follow until property. |
